Zap Ring ("the app", "we", "us") is a single-player arcade game for iOS. We designed it to collect as little personal information as possible. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with data.

Information we do not collect

The app does not require an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, photos, precise location, or browsing history. We do not sell personal data.

Information handled on your device

Your best score and settings (such as whether ads are removed) are stored locally on your device using standard iOS storage. This data stays on your device and is included in your device backups if you use them.

Game Center

If you are signed in to Game Center, the app submits your run score to a global leaderboard so you can compare with other players. This interaction is handled by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We receive only the aggregate leaderboard standings that Game Center exposes; we do not receive your Apple ID.

Advertising

Zap Ring may offer an optional rewarded advertisement (for example, to revive a run) and occasional interstitial ads. If and when ads are served through a third-party ad network, that network may process limited device and advertising identifiers to deliver and measure ads, subject to Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission. You can remove ads entirely via the in-app "Remove Ads" option. If you decline tracking, you will still see non-personalized ads.

Children

Zap Ring is suitable for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will address it.

Your choices

You can reset local data by deleting and reinstalling the app. You can manage tracking permissions and Game Center in your device's iOS Settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
